FOREWORD
As a virtual exhibition by emerging artists of art and technology, this program is introducing 12 amazing works by Chinese artists and designers, including the curatorial team of We¹ Human² on³Mars⁴ (He Yanchao, Qin Man, Ren Qingqi, Zhang Qianyi, Huang Xiaoqian, Zhai Yuanyan), Zhang Xi, Zhang Tianyi, Lin Ziyao, Hu Shuai , Liang Wenhua, Jiang Tong, Fuyu, Liu Guiyu and Ren Qingqi.
There are three chapters in this exhibition: Man, Ecology, and Universe. In virtual scenes such as Mars, the relationship and emotion between human beings, the universe and the world are explained with multi-dimensional and diverse experiences.The entire exhibition is combined with virtual and reality, using high-resolution panorama as the background scene. The switching between each scene is smooth, ensuring the perfect integration of high-definition video works and virtual scenes. The exhibited works are embedded in virtual scenes for display in the form of video, covering a variety of new art types such as 3D animation installations, physical and digital interactive art, digital immersive art, video interactive installations, remote network art, robot art, and biological art.
As science and technology has bring various possibilities for artistic creation, providing new forms and new experiences, China Cultural Centre in Sydney cooperated with the Network of International Culturalink Entities and the School of Design of the Central Academy of Fine Arts(CAFA), is proud to Launch this fantastic exhibition on our website and social media, presenting the distinctive design and artistic thinking of these emerging artists from CAFA. Those insights and creativity that exploring the “visible” and “invisible” provide anwonderful opportunity for the audiences, especially young Chinese and Australian friends, to experience and communicate.
