As Chinese society changes rapidly, many contemporary Chinese artists make relentless
efforts to express the daily life of the Chinese people. With the artistic creations originating from the artists’ own personal and spiritual experiences, we learn from their unique, vivid stories of life in contemporary China.
Featured in the exhibition are internationally renowned aritist Fang Lijun, photographic artist
Miao Xiaochun, sculptor Xiang Jing and award-winning multimedia artist Geng Xue. Other featured artists include Feng Yichen, Hang Chunhui, He Weijin, Li Yousong, Liu Qi, Pan Wenxun, Qin Xiuping, Xu Hualing, Zhu Zhengming and contemporary master of traditional ink and wash painting Liu Qinghe.
