Ballet in China features how ballet art has taken root and burgeoned in China since 1950s with numerous photos, objects and video. The National Ballet of China is the history writer owning lofty ideals and sets up models for the coming generations.
As the single state-level ballet company,the National Ballet of China never ceased enriching its repertoire with world-renowned classics, as well as original creations like The Red Detachment of Women, Raise the Red Lantern, The Peony Pavilion, The Nutcracker(Chinese edition), The Crane Calling and The Light of Heart. In the past six decades, the National Ballet of China has served as a splendid envoy for international cultural exchanges and an important window of Chinese spirit,its contributions to the friendship between nations cannot be neglected.
This thematic exhibition would give you a broadened view of the inherits and creative evolution ,the pursuit of ultimate goal of ballet art, and the exploration of the human civilizations by the National Ballet of China.
