China Cultural Centre in Sydney (CCC) is a non-profit cultural institution established by the Chinese government in Sydney. Our mission is to introduce Chinese culture to the Australian public and foster cultural exchange and cooperation between China and Australia through exhibitions, performances, and community programs in Sydney.
Position:
- Cultural Events Facilitator
CCC Cultural Events Facilitator are multilingual international student volunteers who welcome visitors and support a range of CCC programs and activities in English and Mandarin.
Commitment:
- 3 days per week
What We’re Looking For:
- A genuine passion for Chinese culture and a friendly, open-minded attitude towards China
- Interest in event planning, guest engagement, or community programs (experience in cultural or exhibition settings is a plus!)
- Eagerness to learn and develop strong organisational and time-management skills
- Confident and friendly communicator, both in writing and face-to-face
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and open to supporting a range of tasks and projects
- Willingness to learn or basic skills in video/image creation (e.g. Canva, CapCut, Adobe tools)
- Proficiency in both Chinese and English

China Culture Centre in Sydney is looking for volunteers with passion for Chinese culture.
As a CCC Volunteer, you will generally be asked to assist with administrative work including research, translation and interpretation.
You may also be needed on occasions to help out at our major and regular events which could entail logistic support or just being the friendly face of the CCC.
So if you are interested in Chinese culture and looking for an interesting place to gain valuable working experience, then contact the CCC!
You will be rewarded with a volunteer certificate for each project and great benefits (such as free membership).
