As a famous ancient Chinese music, “Lofty Mountains and Flowing Water” stands for a story about bosom friends formerly. To celebrate 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, Jun Tian Yun He Ensemble brings the show to Sydney to continue the story of “bosom friends’.
Performed by the Jun Tian Yun He Ensemble, a group committed to spreading the music and culture of the majestic, the “Lofty Mountains and Flowing Water” concert is the combination of tradition and modernity. The audience would experience the beauty, power and versatility of the Guqin, in natural partnership with cello, guitar and throat singing through the concert.
