China Cultural Centre in Sydney joinforces with NICE and China Arts and Entertainment Group to present Silk Road Impression- China Fashion Art Exhibition. This theme exhibition had its world tour to Berlin, Mexico City and Moscow, and will arrive in Sydney this December. It will display the fine silk garment and the fashion sketches by brilliant Chinese fashion designers to showcase how the traditional Chinese culture integrated in the contemporary western fashion designs. The uniqueness of this exhibition is it will integrate the static exhibition with designers’original manuscripts and a live runway show at the Opening.
There will be 15 pieces of museum-level silk garments on display in this exhibition, together with a cultural show on the production process of the traditional Chinese clothing accessories, the silk weaving process and the embroidery process with inherited methods from ancient China. During the opening ceremony, it is also expected to have a runway walk presented by models from Australia and China.
