This is the third consecutive exhibition in collaboration with Mr Nicholas Tsoutas, one of the most influential curators in Australia to establish dialogues between Chinese and Australian female artists, featuring six Chinese artists from the ART NOVA 100, Dandizi Chen, Peihua Chen, Qiyao Chen, Yang Liu, Yi Pang, Wenmin Tong and five Australian artists, Euphemia Bostock, Maria Fernanda Cardoso, Elizabeth Day, Beata Geyer, Rox De Luca.

Mr Xiayong Xiao said that the theme of this two–month exhibition is “All Things Shine“. 11 Chinese and Australian female artists used a variety of medium to interpret and response to the modern society, highlighting the life attitudes and spiritual pursuit with the perspective of the new era female artists.

When Mr Nicholas Tsoutas looked back to the curatorial process, he appreciated the brilliance of the artists and vividness of all the exhibited artworks. He valued the creative power of the female artists who allow us to better understand the relationship between nature and society. He especially expresses his gratitude to China Cultural Centre in Sydney for its great support, and looks forward to working together again next year.

Ms Beata Geyer said that she is excited to be part of the exhibition. This is her first time to exhibit at China Cultural Centre in Sydney. She felt thankful that the Centre has provided a platform and opportunity for her to have artistic exchanges with Chinese female artists.

Given the evolving nature of the current COVID-19 pandemic, safety measures that align with health regulations are in place throughout the whole exhibition period.
See you next year!
