The story is set against the historical backdrop of the looting of the Old Summer Palace by Anglo-French forces, during which numerous priceless Chinese cultural relics were taken overseas. Among them, four of the twelve bronze zodiac animal heads have become the focus of intense international attention, sparking controversy and attracting collectors willing to pay enormous sums. Meanwhile, unscrupulous smugglers attempt to obtain these treasures through theft.

Against this backdrop, international treasure hunter JC (played by Jackie Chan) makes his entrance. Backed by a highly skilled team—including Simon (Kwon Sang-woo), David (Liao Fan), and Bonnie (Zhang Lanxin)—JC travels to Paris to seek the help of cultural relic expert Coco (Yao Xingtong).

After meticulous planning, the team gradually moves closer to the heavily guarded zodiac heads. Along the way, a series of thrilling chases and explosive confrontations unfold as various forces compete for the priceless artifacts.

During this high-stakes mission, JC—once driven largely by profit and personal gain—begins to rediscover his sense of patriotism and responsibility, leading to a transformation in his values and purpose.
