About the Exhibition

China Cultural Centre in Sydney and China National Academy of Painting will collaborate to hold the Embracing Diversity – China National Academy of Painting International Art Dialogue Exhibition from 25 August to 23 September 2026 at China Cultural Centre in Sydney.

The exhibition is organised around four sections: ‘Observing the Way with a Clear Mind’, ‘Figures in Myriad Forms’, ‘Scenery of the Four Seasons’, and ‘Timeless Bronze and Stone Inscriptions’. Bringing together artworks by 65 contemporary masters of Chinese painting and calligraphy, it systematically presents the diverse expressions of Chinese ink art. The exhibition seeks to  reveal the cosmic vision, humanistic spirit, and aesthetic ideals embedded within them, and to explore the global resonance of traditional Chinese culture in a cross-cultural context.

This touring exhibition is another vivid practice of  CNAP’s efforts to boost international artistic exchange and dialogue among civilisations.
