It also introduces Chinese homophonic art, a unique form of expression that combines images, sounds, and characters to convey auspicious meanings. Through the appreciation of traditional artworks, the lecture will demonstrate how imagery such as lotus flowers, lilies, and cranes conveys beautiful blessings of harmony, unity, and peace.
The speaker is Zhao Hua, Master of Applied Linguistics and experienced Chinese language educator. She has taught as a guest lecturer at institutions including the Language Centre of the National University of Singapore and the Confucius Institute at Nanyang Technological University, and has received multiple Outstanding Teacher Awards.

At this pivotal moment, she meets Neil (played by Jackson Rathbone), a gentle and caring man who quickly captures her heart.
In a serious car accident, Zhang Lili is left injured and falls into a coma. When she wakes up, she is shocked to discover that reality is completely different from the world she remembers. The once-disliked Dr. Mike has become her husband, and they even have a four-year-old child. Everyone around her denies Neil’s existence, yet Zhang Lili alone remains convinced that Neil must be waiting for her somewhere in this distorted world.
