Yan Shouyi, a famous TV host, accidentally left his cellphone at home which led to his wife discovering Yan’s secret with a mysterious woman. After their divorce, Yan began a relationship with Shen Xue, a theatre academy teacher. They had a happy relationship until Shen noticed Yan had changed his cellphone ring tone from vibrate on ring to vibrate on silent, which triggered Shen’s suspicions and jealousy. Meanwhile, Yan met Wu Yue, an editor, on a train by chance and dismissed to her offer to write a book for Wu’s publishing house. However Wu endlessly chased Yan, so he promised that he will write the book under the condition that Wu will help his ex-wife to find a job. Little did he know this will turn his life into a living nightmare.
