Director's Message
It is a great honour to have all of you here to the Award-Winning Young Australian Chinese Musicians in Recital, to enjoy the amazing performance presented by two outstanding Australian Chinese musicians, Tony Lee and Benett Tsai. On behalf of China Cultural Centre in Sydney, I would like to extend a warm welcome to you. This recital has been postponed several times due to Covid-19. I wish to express my most sincere gratitude and appreciation to the musicians, Australian-Chinese Musician Association and Parsons Music for their cooperation, we couldn’t have done it without your support.
The language of art is universal and music can bridge cultures. China Cultural Centre is dedicated to the promotion of Chinese culture and the cooperation in the field of arts between China and Australia. While developing art dialogue between the two countries, we are thrilled to introduce and support Chinese artists in Australia. We will put our best efforts to promote Chinese culture and cultural diversity in Australia, enhancing friendship between the peoples of the two countries.
Tony Lee and Benett Tsai are two of Australia’s finest young musicians. Today they will jointly present a musical feast, with classical masterpieces of the east and the west, showcasing their superb performance skills and the demeanour of the new generation of Australian Chinese musicians. I would like to express my sincere thanks to these two musicians for sharing your talent with us, wishing you the best for every step in your music journey.
