In 2021, China Cultural Centre in Sydney and Jiangsu held Culture and Tourism Year in Australia. This year also marks the 42nd anniversary of establishing sister-state relationship between Jiangsu Province and the State of Victoria. On 20 December 2021, the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Victoria and the Suzhou Chinese Orchestra, Jiangsu jointly presented a fantastic performance of Chinese and Western musical works together both online and offline, in order to strengthen the mutual understanding and friendship of the two regions. We hope this inspiring concert will bring us more courage to overcome the difficulties in the post-pandemic period and share the joy of welcoming the wonderful 2022.
