Black Dragon Reservoir relies on Dujiangyan water diversion for irrigation. It is a tributary of Fuhe River and Jinjiang River in Dujiangyan Irrigation Area. It runs through Chengdu from north to south. It is a storage reservoir artificially excavated in Heilongtan Town, Renshou. It is the first large-scale reservoir built in Sichuan Province since the founding of the People’s Republic of China. Water storage irrigation project. In 2017, I played here with my friends. In the evening, I took a boat across the reservoir until it got dark. Along the way, I chatted with the locals about the ability of the locals to “rely on the mountains, eat the mountains, and drink water”. For us, the reservoir is a landscape, but for the locals, behind the natural landscape of the reservoir is a field of relationships.
From the history of its construction, to the current strict management of shipping and fishery resources, to the economic industry developed by local fishermen relying on the reservoir, they all expand and weave their own space in the network. This work transforms the scattered impressions and scenery seen in the evening into an installation form, trying to reveal another relationship between human beings, nature and water system.
黑龙滩水库依靠都江堰引水灌溉，系都江堰灌区府河、锦江支流，自北向南贯穿成都，于仁寿黑龙滩镇人工开凿而成的一个囤蓄水库，是建国以来四川省修建的第一座大型蓄水灌溉工程。2017年与朋友们一起在此地游玩，傍晚乘坐一叶扁舟穿越水库，直至天色渐暗。一路上与艄公闲聊当地人“靠山吃山靠水吃水”的本事，对我们而言水库是一片风景，对当地人而言黑龙潭自然景观的背后却是一片关系的场域。
从其建造的历史，到现在严密的航运、渔业资源管理，直至本地渔民依靠水库发展起来的经济产业，都在网络中扩展、编织各自的空间。这件作品将傍晚零散印象、所见风景，转化成装置形态，试图揭示另一种人与自然、水系的关系。
