Chinese Taste Charmed Sydney

From 25th to 27th September, “Chinese Taste – Food Workshop in Beijing” was held at Beijing Impression in Sydney. 

On 25th and 26th September, a master chef from Beijing taught 70 crowds from all over the Sydney three classic Beijing dishes– Kung Fu fried croquettes, three “non-stick” sweets and braised prawns.

On the following night, about 80 friends of China Cultural Centre in Sydney(CCC) were invited for Tasting Activity of Beijing Cuisine. 

Five master chefs from Beijing elaborated Beijing-style cuisine for the guests. After the performance of slicing Beijing Duck conducted by one of the chefs, the guests tasted ten Beijing specialties such as cold dishes, soups, main dishes and desserts.

Throughout the night, the guests were not only tasted authentic Beijing-style cuisine but also got a close look at Beijing’s local customs and felt the Beijing-style and rhyme closely.

This event was co-organized by CCC, China National Tourist Office in Sydney and Network of International Culturallink Entities.
