Nima Zhadui lives in a small Tibetan Village. To help his uncle achieve his life-long dream, he decides to go on a pilgrimage of 2,000 kilometres to Lhasa and the sacred Mt. Gang Rinpoche that would take over a year. Some friends, neighbours and relatives from the same village decide to go with him. Quickly a group of 11 pilgrims assemble at the village entrance and set off on their kowtowing pilgrimage of several thousand kilometres to redeem their sins and cleanse their souls.
