Eternal Confucius: Theme Photo Exhibition

Preface

In the scroll of wisdom that spans thousands of years, Confucius, centering on “benevolence” and regulating with “rites and music,” advocated “harmony without uniformity” and initiated “education without discrimination.” His profound and far-reaching thoughts not only shaped the backbone of Chinese civilization but also transcended mountains and seas, becoming a shared spiritual treasure of all humanity.

This exhibition will narrate through images, divided into three chapters, guiding everyone through ancient and modern times to collectively experience the eternal charm of Confucius’ thoughts. It aims to build a bridge of spiritual communication, jointly witness the light of wisdom, and inspire the path to the future.

Confucius

Confucius (551 BC – 479 BC), a great thinker, educator, and philosopher of ancient China, honored by later generations as the “Supreme Sage and Foremost Teacher” and “Sage.”

 

From life philosophy to governance, Confucius’ wisdom has a profound and far-reaching influence. His thoughts are deep and extensive. Centered onbenevolence, regulated by rites and music, and utiliz-ing the Doctrine of the Mean as a method, he guided people to build a harmonious and ideal world. The Confucian thought system established by Confucius is the crystallization of Chinese history and culture and serves as the main axis of traditional Chinese culture.
