Jiangsu Young Artists Exhibition

Jiangsu Province, one of the most popular areas in China, is well-known for it’s rich natural and cultural products. Thousand years of development in literature, painting and all other forms of art have provided the chance to grow up numerous genres and styles. Having grasped the essence of philosophy and art world-wide, with the newly developed visual language and presence techniques, local artists have formed a unique group called “New Jiang-nan”.

China Cultural Center in Sydney and Artall Culture Group Corporation jointly launched an online exhibition: Jiangsu Young Artists Exhibition, which showcased 22 excellent works of 14 Jiangsu young artists. They use strong painterly artistic language to explain their unique understanding of art and life and express their self-perception from different perspectives. These works not only present the creators’ new exploration and achievements in the field contemporary painting, but also shows the contemporary style of Jiangsu young artists.

By hosting this event, we hope it will promote the communication and mutual understanding between Chinese and Australian artists, showing the charm of Chinese contemporary artworks, inviting more Australian people to be aware of the pioneering and innovative Chinese contemporary art and to appreciate the fusion of the east and west.
